What are Occupations?

Occupations are all of the things you do to occupy your time. This includes everything from showering or brushing your hair to time management, driving, medication management, playing an instrument or sport, paying bills and working. Through all of the occupations you engage in, you derive meaning, fulfillment and a sense of self. Imagine if you were not able to do what you wanted or needed to do because of an illness, systemic barrier, or lack of experience or skills. How might this impact your physical and mental health overall?
